fist off, Sotto Voce is awesome.
They have endless Mimosa/Bloody Mary brunches for $15 (used to be $13 but hey, we all suffer for expensive eggs and what nots).
The food is plain, just what you expect for a brunch, but it's just nice to be able to go to a neighborhood eating joint during the day and drink and chat forever with a good friend.
I am lucky that I have this restaurant & a friend who is funny/smart/can hold her liquor in such proximity to where I live♥
